I don't get involved in anything that's been modified from factory in any way. Too many unknowns and headaches. Not worth the effort.

Headers and intake wouldn't be considered modified in my book but, if you feel that way then so be it.

On a computer controlled engine these are substantial mods because they will change induction pressure and exhaust scavenging in the cylinders. The computer can inject fuel into the engine accurately enough that if these factors are changed the engine may not run well. It's the price we pay to have a clean running engine that pulls a 5200 pound vehicle with the aerodynamics of a brick at highway speeds and get 20+ mpg.

It appears that I paid to get a 5,400 lb vehicle with the aerodynamics of a brick that gets 15. MPG at highway speeds. And I have not modified squat.
