Front license plate bracket

Looking for help on license plate bracket ( front ) for my 06 2500, found a part number in gm acces catalog and price was 8.00, went to dealer with part number they ordered it and then called me back and said it is no longer available. I am looking to get rid of the way the front plate looks by just being attached to bumper.

I bought the black plastic front license plate holder for the GMC and intalled it UPSIDE DOWN on my Silverado and it looks and works great. Cost about $8 or so at the dealer. All you need extra are two longer screws.

Recieved the bracket for the front license plate holder that the gm accessories ( gm part #12496895 )catalog carries, I would advise not to even consider it to anyone. The bracket came unpainted and did not fit at all, Thanks for your help, I will try the one you purchased.
