Brakes noisy on 05 crew

I have a 05 crew and a friend of mine has a 05 ext cab. Both have alot of bkake pad squeeling when stopping. I thought it would go away but 8 months later i still have it. Any idea what the dealer will say? Anybody else with a 05 that does this?

Disk brakes can be noisy without sacrificing stopping ability. It really depends on pads and the oily crap splashed on them. My oems are silent and when I replace I will use raybestos which have also been silent in my experience.

Get some anti-squeal paste from Auto Zone and smear it on the back of the disc pads. The squeaal should be substantially reduced or should go away entirely.

I have pretty much had no issues with my brakes making noise on my 05, though i only have 14k on it so far.

My '04 has been having the same issues lately. Makes a lot of noise when stopping and is fairly annoying. I only have 18,000 miles on mine and I think this problem surfaced about 4,000 miles ago.
