Keyed truck please help with paint code

I am so angry at the moment.

Someone keyed my truck and destroyed the entire tailgate full depth of the paint.

I think it was the kid from around the corner but can't proove it.

Can somebody please tell me the Dulux colour code for 'Victory Red'?

Either Dulux or another popular brand of auto paint?

I need to find it in Australia.

You got nice big deserts down there dont ya? Hogtie the little SOB, and throw him in the back of your truck, and take him out into the middle of the desert and drop him off. Leave him for the dingos! That'll teach him! Sorry I dont have any paint code to tell ya. A friend of mine has a red 99 Blazer that got keyed. It was a pretty deep scratch, but yours may be a little deeper. Anyway, he bought some product made by TurtleWax that comes with this little stick that looks like lipstick. I guess you put that on and fill in the scratch first, and then follow with the liquid wax. I cant even tell where the key marks were. Just a suggestion you may want to try before painting. Good luck.

Mine got keyed a while back. I have tried the color match waxes bt Turtle Wax and they help hide the scratch for a while but it shows up a little at first and more as the wax fades. I haven't fixed mine yet, don't know if I'll even bother. As the handle says, it's a worktruck and has multiple scratches on the bed sides now. People that key vehicles should be neutered (painfully) so they can't breed and make copies of themselves. Good Luck

Ah didnt know that. How well does it hold up if you keep up with waxing it every so often? My friend did this like 3 months ago and it looks as good as it did the first day he did it.

Maybe his wasn't scratched quite as bad as mine. Mine is all the way thru the clear coat and paint, right down to the metal. I could wax it once a week and it would still show. I'd like to get my hands on the little b*tch that did it. Wouldn't be pretty.

Guesss I didnt look as close as I thought I did. I just talked to my buddy. He said the back part of the scratch is not visible, but the front keeps coming through. Sorry. Thought that would have been beneficial.

HI Guys,

I decided to leave a message for the 'person' with the creative screwdrive.

Hope you get a laugh out of it!

Tailgate will be repinted in 2 weeks. Tape is there for two reasons...one is that the words underneath it are not pleasant (yes they actually took the time to write) and the other is I don't want water to get to the bare metal.

I'm going to get the handle colour coded to match at the same time.
