C & A s Dad Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I have been using the forum for quite some time but spent most of my time in areas other than Classic. I have finally updated my sig and added a picture of my sweetie. I have owned it for about 13 years. It is 100% original including the paint, seat and flooring. I have the original white wheels but took them off for the 8" wide steel wheels. The only other change is a set of dual Vortec mufflers. I will eventually have to paint it but for it being 35 years old, it has done very well. I have attempted to load a picture but not sure it worked. If the picture loads, you will see I am not real "techie". I like to keep it simple. No picture. Now I get it. the picture does not come up on a post, you have to go to someones personal profile to see it. Sorry, If you want to see a very clean '71, take a look.
Hecktorx Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Great shape for a truck that old. They sure did have some funky colors in the 70s. Is that Golden's Mustard yellow.
C & A s Dad Posted August 14, 2006 Author Posted August 14, 2006 You are correct about the color. It was not my choice but when the truck became avail I could not turn it down. I will alos paint it back the same color when the day comes. If I don't it will kill the value. Hey, how did you post the picture on the thread? I could not seem to figure this out.
Hecktorx Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I understand about the color, I was just teasing. Go to your profile and right click over your picture. When the menu pops up, click on properties. Next to address, you will see a URL next to that. Highlight and copy the entire web address. Next, when your writing a new post or reply, on the top menu you will see a box with IMG in it. Click on that and another menu will appear. Paste the web address you copied from "Properties"
