Riddle for yall

A man is away from home, he calls his wife (who's 4 hours away) at 4:00PM. He told his wife he will be home at 4:00pm (that same day). He gets there at 4:00pm like he said he was.

 

How is this possible?

I need more details... if he was 4 hours away, and in a different time zone, he would only be a maximum of one zone away, which is one hour... so he could not make it in one hour....

He flew in a jet, An airliner to the west coast.

 

Like a concorde or something.

Whether the concorde flys or not is beyond the point.

 

The point is time-zones.

I like friz's answer better.  Evan if he was on the east and she was in the west, or visa-verca.  isn't the timezone difference only 3 hours?  Maybe he was on the other side of the world?

I'm pretty sure it's 4 hours cause there's 4 time-zones in the US.

 

East, Central, Mountain, West.

There's 4 zones, but that is really only 3 hours difference.

 

12:00  Eastern

11:00  Central

10:00  Mountain

9:00   Pacific

I thought it was only 3 hours.  So, the best answer would be that they don't live together.  Timezones is a crappy answer.
