Hub replacement

Nice rig

I plan on tackling the replacement of my drivers front hub in the near future. It looks like a pretty straight forward job...remove wheel, remove caliper, remove disc, remove 3 bolts, talk to it really nice and get it off of the axle. Advice from experience or just straight up advice would be appreciated.

I've not done one on these trucks, but I did it on my Grand Prix and that's pretty much the way it works. One piece of advice is if the hub won't come off the axle, you need one of two things: a hub puller or a big hammer. It's advised (or was advised to me by a mechanic at a GM dealer) to put the nut back on until it's flush with the end of the axle shaft, then smack it hard with a big hammer and it should come free w/o tearing up threads or the end of the axle. Just my $.02
