2003 rebates

I was shocked to hear a nearby dealer tell me yesterday that GM is already offering $1000 rebates or 2.9% financing on 2003's! My only problem is that i want to order my truck and i hope the rebates will be still going on in 5 or 6 weeks when i recieve my truck,,,, or maybe even betterrebate by then.  Does anyone think that rebates on 2003's will be worse in a month or so this early this year???   Also i have the option to use a GM supplier discount that is supposed to be 4% above what a gm employee pays,,, my question is What %below invoice does a gm employee pay??  any help would be appreciated.

The information that I got from the company that I work for was the supplier discount was approximately 1% below dealer invoice. That would make it 5% below dealer invoice for GM employees. I have yet to find any info on any rebates or low instrest rates. If anybody knows where this info can be found please post it. A supplier discount + 1000.00 off for a class action law suit due to Gm saddle tanks and a rebate. WOW!

I purchased my Z71 with the GM employee program in May, (GMO), sticker was $35138, I paid the non-negociated GMO price of $29778.31.  Then I got another $2502 rebate making it $27276.
