05 Yukon Denali Naviation Question?

Hi Everybody,

 

I'm new to the forums, it looks like a good community for GM owners, I just purchased an 05 Yukon Denali and I'm looking on Ebay to get a navigation unit for my new ride however I'm a bit confused on with one to get as there seems to be many different model #'s. Like I'm unsure if I need a lux one or not. And I want one with XM built into it as well.

 

Does anyone reccomend which part #'s I should be looking for?

 

I found this one on Ebay and it looks like it's the rite one, though I'm not sure.

If the seller's 15800001 part number is accurate, that is the correct unit for your Denali.

 

XM is not built into the head units, but is a separate module hidden near the passenger side front air bag. The head unit "controls" the XM unit just like it controls the CD changer. You can install a GM XM upgrade:

I'm just about the upgrade my 2003 Denali with a Nav unit as well. 15800001 is the correct p/n.
