Need a 350 for my 93 K2500

It has finally come time for my truck to receive a new engine, the current one has more problems with it, I've figured to just get a crate instead of rebuild my current one.

This is what I need:

A 5.7L 350 for a 1993 GMC K2500 4x4 (auto trannie, ext cab, long bed), currently i've got a 4 inch lift with 33x11.50's on it but i've got a 6" Dick Cepek Lift sitting in my garage and some 315/75/16s. I need an engine capable of giving me enough power for off roading and towing. I figure around 330 HP/400Ft lbs Torque should fit the bill.

In short i'd like to rip the stock one out but be able to put one in that won't cause me a headache installing it but have more hp and torque..

Forgot to Add, i've got TBI and would like to keep it

HELP??!?

What about the ZZ4 crate engine and the Edelbrock MPFI conversion kit that allows you to keep your throttle body but have Multi-Point Fuel Injection?

I also recommend the ZZ4 crate engine, or any of the GM 350 crates offered by GMPP. If you're feeling daring you could probably get the fast-burn 383 and it should bolt right in and accept your TBI intake.

not quite sure, but I think most of the GMPP crate 350's now have the L31 heads or at least the similar SBC Gen 1 v2 intake manifold bolt pattern.

The GMPP 300HP 350 crate is a nice compromise in terms of price/performance as far as the crate engines go.

Don't forget to check engines available through Summit Racing. I've never bought anything that big from them, but they seem like another good source of parts and information.
