Anyone have any experience w/ these guns? I've found them the pistols to be reliable and trouble free and was looking into a 9mm carbine and would like opinions on this particular gun or discussion on any model.

wow...never seen one of those before. Looks interesting! Ive been thinking about purchasing a new pistol. I dont have any pistols and thought it would be the next piece to add to my gun cabinet. Currently looking at the Smith & Wesson M&P .40. Man is it sweet! Had to check one out in person Sunday when i went to Gander Mountain. I think i may have drooled a little... j/k

who makes the gun in the picture?

well as a lawenforcement officer i can say that i have seen them many times being carried by "Hood Rats",...most of the ones i have come across are the polymer models. Our gun nut at work said that they are basically cheap glock knockoffs. I cant say anything about the carbine though dont know...

I really don't understand the reasoning behind a 9mm carbine. It's a marginal pistol cartridge IMO (I have one, a Browning Hi Power), and I can't see how it can really be effective in a carbine. Our security force at work (Nuclear Power Plant) hated them, although a different brand. They told me they hated the round. A .223 (5.56mm) is a much better all around weapon. My opinion only of course, and "I want one" is the best reason I've ever heard for purchasing any gun. Buy what you want and enjoy.

Why people put their lives on cheap firearms is beyond me.

Get a Glock, Sprinfield, Sig or Hk for defense.

I understand what you're saying, but mine has always perfomed flawlessly. It could be more accurate but it has so far been an excellent weapon. I have only had it since last summer but I shoot about 200 rnds a month through it with no problems. I could get 4 9mm's for the price of a basic 1911. Plus an unconditional lifetime warranty no-questions-asked? Sell me another!

I'd say you got a decent one then.

One of the most fugly handguns that I've ever seen though.

I've fired several of them, each time there was feeding problems which could be related to a magazine issue.

Bottom line for a cheap junk truck/car/boat gun you can't go wrong if it's reliable! :)
