Who sells lifts over 6"

I have a 2002 GMC ext. cab Z71 and I'm looking into lifting it. I don't know how high I wanna go yet but I was thinking maybe an 8" lift and 38's. Does anyone have a picture of this setup so I can see how it looks? I've seen lifts up to 6" but none over that, who makes lifts over 6"? How are body lifts, could you maybe do a 6" suspension lift and a 3" body lift? I've heard body lifts are bad but they didn't have a reason why, anyone know? Thanks, Ryan

im not sure who makes a lift that is higher then 6" but i do know why i personally dont like body lifts. when you do a body lift there is a gap between your body and your frame so you can see under your bed all the way through, i just think it is tacky. there are some kits that come with peices to cover that but are usually rubber and you can still tell that it is a body lift is just dosnt look AS bad. as far as true function over form i personally havent heard of anything that body lifts affect.

TAKE A LOOK AT MINE I CLEAR 37'S NO PROBLEM AT ALL, I DO LIFT KITS FOR A LIVING, MOST LIFTS OVER 8" REQUIRE OR THEY ACTUALLY PINCH YOUR CROSS MEMBERS, NOT TO MANY PEOPLE KNOW THAT BUT THEY DO, IT VERY EASY AND IF YOU ARE NOT LOOKING IN THE RIGHT PLACES YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW, I HAVE A TRUE 6" FABTECH WITH A PERFORMANCE ASS. 3" BODY, AND I AM ONE OF THOSE GUYS THAT HATE BODY LIFTS, BUT THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ONES OUT THERE, I LIFTED MY TRUCK LIKE THIS WITH ONLY 36 MILES ON IT, AND NOW I HAVE 46000 ON IT AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM THE WHOLE TIME WITH IT.

I'm considering a body lift with the suspension lift I got as well. I think if you use both together it doesn't look so bad. But I normally don't like body lifts either.

The rubber sticks out a first, its really gloss at first but im sure it will blend it with some dirt on it... plus your exhaust sits lower and you can't use your tow hooks unless you modify it.
