Question: when you launch in 4wd to avoid the rear wheels spinning, I'm assuming you keep the truck in 4wd all thru the 1/4 mile ?

It has the autotrack transfer case. At the track I will go 2wd right after the 1-2 shift to keep traction through the shift. Great debate on how the system reacts to this. I am fairly confident that the transfer case doesn't provide power to the front but don't think the front axle can unlock under torque. I have tested at the track. 4wd runs the entire lenght are about .2 slower.
