Need an Ipod Interface

Wife's ride, '05 Tahoe with In Dash CD Player. Has Onstar, No XM, Bose System, With Remote for rear. Also the radio does that thing where the name of the song and radio station displays on the radio. I'd like to add an interface for her Ipod. Does anyone have experience with these? Is it plug and play? Any infomration helpful... Thanks.

This is a link to an old thread in which I described the product I'm using. It'll work the same for your system. I like it, but if you search this forum, you'll find others who have some complaints about it.

p.s. you should be able to find these things on ebay "on the cheap"

i.e., don't pay $150 like I did 15 months ago.

You may like the USA Spec PA11-GM. I just got one from JP customs, it works great in my 06 Sierra Z71 and I have XM,OnStar,TNR Nav and RSE .It works so good I am going to put one in my 03 yukon with the same equipment. You can use the interface two ways direct or connect it to the XM tuner and info shows up on radio. I have 4380 songs on my Ipod so I use mine in the Direct mode, it is easier to navigate through the playlists on the ipod than through the steering wheel controls but the nice thing also is you can always switch it back if you want.
