Questions on Manual Tranny

A friend of mine told me you cannot get the new trucks with 4x4 & a manual transmission, not even with the 4.3 engine. Is this true? If so, I'm just going to buy the '07 Classic I've had my eye on.

Go to GMbuypower.com and see...Last I checked you could, but I haven't checked in a while. If you can't, it's just one more reason for me not to buy ANYTHING new.

Went to GMBuypower and also to chevy.com & GMC.com. The only thing they let you do is build a crew cab; I think thats because thats the only type truck you can order at this time. Transmission available is the 4 speed auto. The box is grayed out, you don't have a choice. Maybe it will be different once the reg cabs become available in April. But right now, I find it hard to believe that you can't buy a chevy or GMC with a stick shift.
