Throttle "sticking" sometimes

I have a 2003 Silverado SS with the following mods: Radix supercharger, ASM long tube headers, Air raid intake, self tuned with HPtuners, stock cam, and lots of other stuff that probably isn't related to my question...Here it is: My throttle sticks sometimes. It usually hangs around 1100rpm or so and I can watch the tps with my HPtuners program and it hangs between 11-14%. I have replaced the throttle body and I am getting no trouble codes. A slight bump of the gas pedal will make the idle return to normal. It will hang up both in park and when driving/ coming to a stop. What gives? I am leaning towards maybe the throttle pedal itself as the truck is drive by wire and has no cable between the pedal and TB. Any ideas? Does someone know if I can check the pedal with a ohm meter to look for proper resistance, I assume the pedal is just a variable resistor. Thanks

No ideas? I have pretty much ruled out a vacuum leak, my fuel trims are within -1.5--3.0. I found a used pedal assembly...haven't messed with DBW much, but Mr. Tech have you had to replace many gas pedals on the DBW cars and trucks?? Thanks

I have no clue what a DBW is for starters. Where'd you get that abbreviation?

 

Normally, I don't respond to problems on vehicle that have been modified. We don't work on them and there are too many unknowns for me to even attempt to figure out what's going on. In this case I'll just say...

 

No, few problems with the APP (accelerator pedal position) sensors. Several sensors are used for redundancy on these and if even one is slightly out of range you should go into "Reduced performance" mode.

DBW=Drive By Wire. It is used on about every LS1 car/truck chat forum on the net and by aftermarket throttle body manufacturers.I know there are 2 TPS sensors in the throttle body, and that the TAC module is the translator between the throttle body and the gas pedal. I was just curious to see if there have been many problems with the gas pedal and related sensor...mine spends a lot of time near the floor

DBW=Drive By Wire. It is used on about every LS1 car/truck chat forum on the net and by aftermarket throttle body manufacturers.

 

All that means is you can take any three or four words and make an acronym out of it. I can give you a list of several hundred acronyms from GM. DBW is not on the list. I guess it's okay to invent these new ones, just don't expect everyone to know what they mean.
