Bought a worktruck

In light of my daily driver 95 mustang deciding to explode at 250,000 miles, I decided it was time for something different (and more useful, I work on a farm). So after a little quick searching I found this 1990 Chevy Silverado K1500 for sale from a young guy who was leaving for Iraq for his second tour, he decided when he makes it back he deserves a new truck and no sense keeping this one around while he can't drive it.

The truck is high in miles 150,000, but has a brand new 5.7 crate motor and a new rebuilt automatic transmission. Short of one quarter panel being cut in an attempt at stopping rust (he never quite finished his project there) and some misc. worn/broken parts I think it's in pretty good shape. I paid $2,500 for it and I'd like to think that I didn't get screwed, but I'd like to hear your opinions on that price. I linked some pics of the truck and I'd like to know what everybody thinks of it, keep in mind it's a beater work truck mostly.

And here is a picture of my project 65 mustang, 302, 3 speed, offy intake and holley 4 bbl carb. I've only had it a couple months and I'm just collecting parts to build it now.

thats not to bad of a price... looks like it outta make a good work truck. It practically identical to my last truck. Same Exterior colors and same interior. Different wheels though. Ahh, that brings back some memories.

Thanks, I really hate the wheels but I don't want to buy new ones till I wear the tires out. Then hopefully I'll at least buy different stock rims.
