Does anyone have any pictures of how they did their 4 High Mod. I was thinking about doing it to my truck. I'd like to see some pictures of how to do it though. Thanks

I did my 2000 ECSB 1500 Z71..............its real easy on our trucks.

Unplug the harness(plug) off your low beam lights............one of the wires is yellow. Cut this wire......not too close to the plug.....then take the yellow from the plug........and ground it somewhere near by. You will most likely have to add a piece of wire to it.......the other end of the yellow which essentially just runs into the main wiring harness of the truck, just tape it up real good..........its only a ground anyways.

Thats it............your low beams will now stay on when you put your high beams on.

I did this last year and have had no problems what so ever.........all you are doing is giving the lights a constant ground instead of an intermitten one from the trucks wiring system.

I tried this on my '05 Silverado. First off, the yellow turned out to be the hot, not the ground. After I fixed that I tried the mod with the black. Didn't work. Pulled out my tester and found that the ground is constant. It's the power that's intermittent. I guess the solution may be to steal power from the hot lead on the high beams. I don't know if it'll maybe overload the circuit though. Maybe a diode will need to be installed on the low beam hot lead to keep voltage from feeding back to the computer or wherever it goes? I don't really know if it matters. Any thoughts?
