cat back for slt crew, 5.3

I have not had a great deal of luck locating a cat back for my crew cab, short bed. Borla, Corsa, B&B. Any suggestions? Thanks

i can tell you that mine is a flowmaster...got it from summit...355 shipped...part number is in my sig

I will have to inform you B&B is not a good idea. Their mufflers dont flow worth a crap. Corsa of course will get mine and many others votes for sound and of course performance. Im gonna say it again. Flowmasters just do not suffice on these LS motors. THEY ARE NOT A SBC, far from it! They worked well in those situations and have PROVEN to suck on the LSx platform again and again when compared to other cat-backs.

 

Search LS1Techs forums. Count how many people are running and actually are happy with Flowmaster. I guarantee you you wont find many. Majority of those running them are just going for sound and when it comes to making power they just open the cut-out.

 

I had Flows, wasnt happy with any aspect of them and of course they found a new home in a trash dumpster. Corsa sport now lives under my truck and couldnt be happier with it.

i have to say i just purchased the corsa sport side exhaust...the delivery was on time and packaged nicely...it took me longer to wait for the system to cool and retighten than it did to put it on...approx. 1 hour....and the sound...man you have to hear it absolutely no drone and that awesome throaty sound...bought it from Tryne 700 bucks out the door... i highley recommend them and the product...

I decided to go through the dealership....they offered me both leftover Corsas and the Borla. I decided to go with the Borla catback since I have experience with them...it cost me $563.00 installed for a SC, SB. He got it through GM Performance Parts. I thought the price was great as well...I didn't ask him how much the Corsa was?
