2007 Denali 6.2L Oil Change

OK. In idiot mode this morning. Just bought the M1 and filter, but cannot, for the life of me, find the oil drain plug on my new (5K Miles already!) 2007 Denali, which has the 6.2L engine. Any suggestions. Sorry to post such a dumb question, but it really must be hidden! Thanks.

I haven't specificially looked at a your year/engine, but it's gotta be on the bottom edge of the oil pan, on the backside I'd say. You're just not looking close enough, it can't be that hard to find.

I couldn't agree more, but....it is!? It is weird. I can't imagine anything that should be so easy, in fact being so hard. This is crazy. It is all cast aluminum and the filter is located by what appears to be a pan, but there is NO drain plug in it. Weird, I tell ya.

OK. Found it! On the side of the "Pan". It is aluminum colored and looks like a regular bolt, not large like most other drain plugs. Sorry for the stupid posts guys, but this one really does blend in. Wow.
