2004 silverado bose xm radio cd player

How do I go about fixing this in the cheapest manor possible?

 

Ebay has some but Im lost as to which ones fit and dont.

 

Ive thought about going aftermarket but would like to go Tv if I did but dont have 1500 right now to do so.

 

So leaves me with getting a used one off ebay.

 

What do I need to look out for?

Ive seen some on ebay but the said dealer needs to unlock them. What kinda paperwork would I need and what would it cost to do this?

 

 

Also If I wanted to add sub's what harness would I need to patch into a Amp and still have my xm and bose working?
