Charcol Filter???

It should be in the back near the gas tank. It's a rectangular box with some hoses going to the gas tank. Not sure how to change it though. Is there a problem with it? They usually don't have too many issues.

Getting code read outs from the cpu that the charcole filter needs to be replaced. Didn't know if I can get it from napa and just replace it myself or if I should just reset the code and see if it comes back

charcoal filter acts as a filter for the fuel tank so that toxic fumes do not escape into the atmosphere. On my 1999 burb the charcoal canister is under the hood.

It may be a dealer item since the old one is hazmat and is supposed to be properly disposed of. Also, check to see if it is covered under warranty. Sometimes the warranty is extended for emissions items.
