Coolant leak, ABS light?

I am looking at buying a 2001 Suburban. When I took it to a mechanic friend he found a small coolant leak but could not tell where it was ccoming from. It appears to be from the passenger side front of the motor. It drips off the front of the oil pan.

When I called the previous owner he said that it satrted leaking about 3 months before he traded it in and he added coolant to the resevoir about once a month.

Any ideas on what to look for?

Also, the previous owner said that the ABS light was coming on and I should have it checked. However, when I drove the vehicle no warning lights came on. Could it have been disconnected?

No ideas on the coolant leak. You just have to look for the source.

When the ABS light comes on due to a problem, it doesn't necessarily stay on forever. If the problem is intermittent, the light will be too. There's probably a code stored in history. You need to find out what that is.
