Seat Squeak!!!!

I have an 05 lt3 (power leather seats) with 41k on it and the seats started to squeak when you hit a bump, its not my leather belt rubbing either. It's annoying as heck. Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem

My seat has started to do that recently too (power leather seats also) and I think I have isolated the sound to the seat belt retractor inside the seat or something inside the seat around the retractor area. I haven't had time to hunt it down specifically though...

 

Seems to squeak when the seat belt is pulled slightly outward when my body moves after hitting a bump... I almost think it may be squeaking because the seat belt retractor does not seem to align that well with the angle the seat belt pulls from when it is buckled. Regardless, the squeak always seems to come from that area.

And the weight isn't a problem for me at 180 lbs! On second thought, if I gained 100 lbs maybe I wouldn't bounce when the truck hits bumps and my seat belt wouldn't squeak!

I will check into the seat belt. I don't weigh 280 but I'm a good 240. So I wouldn't suggest gaining weight because it doesn't solve the problem. My 110 pound girlfried has had the seat squeak so I know it wasn't cause I'm to fat. Thanks for the help.

Knight, did you ever find a fix for your seats? Mine has been doing the same thing and its also the leather seats, driving me nuts...
