Yes ive been lookin around and ive found plenty of web sites that have the diagrams for my truck but you have to pay, since im still in High School im lookin for a free diagram, one for my entire truck, I have too many extra wires/plugs and things i want to know, The one i want most is of my fuse boxes and my dr side floor plug panel. so i can add wiring for acc. and make it look stock, plus then ill be able to make it removable if ever neccassary, since the warrenty is still good and if ever i have to take it in for work i can easly pull the acc. out and they will never know.

There is no such thing as a wiring diagram for the entire vehicle... at least not from GM. There are too many complex systems and the diagrams are broken down into specific items. There are probably several hundred diagrams for each vehicle.

well thats what i ment, sorry for not saying so to start with, thought i did, but yeah, thats what im wanting if possiable, just mainly a place or number of places that have diagrams for my type of truck, but no site that only has diagrams for audio/securty/cruse control. cuz im tired of only finding those sites

I'm in the same boat, wanting everything to be reasonably close to factory.

 

First I went out and bought a Haynes manual for $35. There are decent wiring diagrams but they suck in that they don't show pin numbers at connectors, only colors. I still think the book is useful due to all the other stuff it shows.

 

Next I went down to the library and made copies of their Mitchell's wiring diagrams. Most are identical to the ones in the Haynes book, except these have pin numbers.

 

After lurking through a ton of forums I've managed to put together a decent pinout for the 99-02 MBEC (between the pedals)

You do realize that new vehicles have computers that will tell a service technician whether or not anything has been toyed with right? Theres people who have put programmers in their deisels, blown out a tranny, taken it in, and when the service guys ran the readings on the computer, it showed way too high of horsepower and torque outputs, and the tranny wasn't covered due to that fact. It also usually shows electrical draws from fuses and will compare them to normal draws on those fuses.

I wish! The Tech 2 we use in service will show none of those things. In fact, you could bring your vehicle in with a performance calibration installed and we wouldn't be able to tell unless you had a big WESTERS label on the PCM.

How is it possible that they didn't cover it under warrranty? They showed us the graph of the RPM's being turned and the speed, then the tech said he was racing, therefore it wasn't covered under warranty. I know Ford does this too, there was a case that went to court over it. We read about it in my business class.
