New stereo

hey guys i just installed 2 alpine type s 6.5 in. speakers in the front a 9857 alpine deck, and 2 alpine type s 4x6 speakers it sounds great i got adapters so that my steering wheel controls and chime and everything work well deffinatly better sounding. i have had alpine in the past including a type r sub i love alpine and will continue to stick with them until i find a bad product. anyways im really excited my father just told me he would by me a chip as my x-mas present so thats way cool leaning towards the power pup from bully dog.

Hey, what kind of adapters did you need to buy, and where did you buy them? specifically did you need one to make the computer think it was communicating with the stereo? thanks
