Chevy/GMC

I would like to buy a 07 1500 GMC, but the Chevy is less money for the same equipment. Is there ANY difference between the two trucks such as sounding proofing, shock valveing or anything. Please only respond if you know for sure. Thanks for the help

GMC is suppose to be more "upscale" in trim options (more chrome etc.) That's really about it.

otherwise it's just boils down to if you want 3 letters in your grille or a bowtie.

Every time I've configured two identical trucks, the price always came out the same within a few hundred dollars. Sometimes the options weren't available to match them completely and then it was harder to compare. I could almost always configure a Chevy cheaper than a GMC if I was just aiming for the lowest price stripped-down truck.

With my 2006 GMC 1500 Crew Cab, I noticed that the tounge weight rating was less then the indetical Chevrolet. Looking further, I found that the Chevrolet had three-stage rear leaf springs and mine only had two stage. So far, that's the only real difference I've found.
