DC Plug!?

Hi everybody! I have a 2000 GMC Sierra and a long weekend My Cigarette/DC plug stopped working a few days ago, and I want to replace it but have no clue on how to even take it out. Can anyone give me some instructions on what I need to get and how to install a new DC plug....Thanks!

Did you check the fuses first?

 

Not sure how the dash is setup on the GMCs but on my Burb It took a couple good pulls to pull the trim off then I was able to unplug the existing lighter so I could replace it with a plug only.

 

Got the plug from the dealer for $12
