On the market for a new hd to replace the 04 maybe.

I'm thinking of ditching the dark carbon metallic and going with a white truck.

I'd like to see what others have done to their white Ext Cabs & Crew cab short beds to see what the final outcome will look like. They look pretty dull and plain at the lot sitting factory.

Replies are deeepppy appreciated.

I have a buddy that has had 2 crewcab shortbed HD's that were white... His first one was stolen on a snowmobile trip to Canada! He now has an '06 Dmax/Ally...

He has 285's on it, with white door handles, and a Billet grill... the 4X4 sticker has been removed... He also has a matching cab high fiberglass cap on the bed... He tinted the front side windows to the deepest tint allowed by PA law.

This is one sweet looking truck!

His last one looked just like it, but it had the 6.0L in it.

When I first got the truck, stock other than adding the 18's w/ 325/60R18.

After adding white flares, GMC molding, Escalade handles.

Back to 16's w/ 285/75R16....

Now with Rancho 4" lift and different 16's w/ 295/75R16

Hey Alex,

I can't post the pics, so maybe this is useless to you, but my son-in-law has a pure white 2500HD Duramax Crew Cab that is very sharp. Some black powder coat nerf bars from Westin on the bottom, and those thin chrome bed rails with a tiny light in the back? (Don't know the name of those.) And some pretty nice chrome wheels, must be like 8 spokes--don't know the brand. Anyway, it's what I call "understated elegance." I wouldn't normally like a white truck, but his is pretty cool looking. I've had a lot of different colors over time (including purple spray paint for my bugs) and I have to say I'm really tired of the grey, silver stuff. I think a "pure" color (white, black, red, blue) has a lot more going for it than blends. They "accessorize" better. All these "mauve" and "beige" colors to "tone down" the rig seem to me to miss the point. Just my x cents. No big deal.
