If I put electric fans on my 2001 8.1, will I have to

get a new tune?

I've tried e-mailing Wester's but can't get through.

Do they have a new address?

If you want the fans to be controlled by the PCM yes. If you used a seperate control than no.

Depends on the fans. Factory set up with the 2 fans best to operate with a tune. These come on at different temps and different speeds. If you are adding an aftermarket than use the connections that come with them.

I was getting a tune anyway so I had my pcm programmed for fans. Noticed only the 1500 come with the e-fans and was told the clutch fan, on our trucks, is better for max cooling under heavy load conditions. Never did put e-fans on my truck.
