Silverado grill guard and front receiver hitch

Howdy boyz, proud new owner of an 04 Silverado Z71 Crew Cab!

I'm wanting to put a Grill Guard on the front as well as a receiver hitch for a winch.

I've got my eye on an Westin GG and a couple of receiver hitches, but I gotta question?

Can you put them both on?

From what I can tell, the GG will attach where the tow hooks are located, and the hitch will mount up under the front bumper. I'll have to cut a hole in the plastic bumper wrap to get the hitch out, but that's no big deal.

I am concerned that the bar that goes across the bottom of the GG will interfere with the hitch.

Any experience with this or suggestions?

I don't see any reason why I can't do al this myself, but I don't to go out and buy everything and then not be able to put it on.

Thanks

Take a look at the ranch hand bumper replacements. Those bumpers have everything on them (winch mounts, hooks, receiver hitch, and able to keep the fog lights, etc...) I'm going to put one on mine in a couple of month.

I would love to have a ranchand. But my Silverado is a 1500 LD, so I'm afraid the weight would be too much for it. Not only the suspension, but also mileage.

wht2500hd, most of the front hitches I've found don't require any cutting. Just wondering if I can get them both on there.

Thanks fellers!

A buddy of mine has a 2006 Silverado Z71 1500 with a ranchhand bumper and he has no problems at all. Stock suspension and everything.
