Weak Leaf Springs...add leafs?

My dad did this on his F150, and i really liked the ride/handling, especially when towing.

 

His truck had the classic cracked leaf spring, so the guy he goes to replaced it, and added 2 extra leafs (custom cut), and it really jacked up the rear...i REALLY liked it.

 

Anybody know where they sell add-a-leaf's that REALLY strengthen the suspension, and give it about a 3" lift? Or do you think i need to buy an entirely new leaf spring pack?

 

(PS-I hate helper bags, so thats out of the question-LOL)

My dad and I have these, they are good for 2"+ of lift and much better handling especially when loaded down.
