I saw some pics of a guy with a white CC who had the same size tires on the factory aluminum rims. Personally, I think that's dangerous. 285/75's are pushing it, but a lot of people seem to run them without much problems. But 305/70's? That's a bit much.

There's a guy in my town running 305/70's on his CC HD.  Just up the rode in a neighboring town there are 2 or 3 dudes that have 33/12.50/16.5's on all four corners.  These are all 2500 HD regular cabs.

A buddy of mine said he saw a 3500 dually with 33/12.50/16.5's.  But he had to have some wheels specially made.

So I guess you can fit 33/12.50/16.5's if you run 16.5/10 wide offset wheels.

I have 305/70 16 on 16x8 American Racing. I think they look real good. Had to do a little trimming and adjust the torsion bars. I wouldn't out them on stock rims they won't wear correctly.

I am the guy with the White 2500HD with Goodyear AT/S 305/70-16 on stock aluminum wheels. I have had this tire/rim combination on my 94',97',00' and this truck... have run 50K miles before replacing them because I had a set of tires (BF Goodrich) that started coming apart about 60K, not because they wore out.

I have them rotated and balanced every 5K miles and have never had a problem in the last 8 years. I like the way it looks and drives with these tires. I carry 2,000 lbs. in the back at all times as it is a work truck. I tow, I highway drive, I street drive. I have had only 1 flat tire. This is a great combination.

305/70's look good!

Was looking at wheels at Discount tire here and the guys swear they have put 305/70/16's on 16x10's on a HD like mine w/torsions cranked.

I told them no way..  They didn't have any in stock to test fit.
