I just installed the Flashpaq on my LBZ but I've read that the tire size adjustment doesn't really correlate well with actual size. I'm lookin for a starting point, I have 285/75-16 BFG TA KOs and was wondering if anyone has a similar setup and where you set the tire size.

I checked the BFG site and it says 32.8 inches.

Do Not use generic calibrations!!!!!

 

The product was designed to use physical measurments. Measure from the ground to the top of the tires within 1/4" increments.

Also, is there any way the dealer can tell I had my tuner installed if I set it back to stock before I take it in? There is much discussion of this on another site.

I've found the best way is to get on a flat surface and mark the tire and road right on the bottom center where it's touching the ground have someone pull the truck forward until it makes three complete turns. On the third turn mark the road where the tire mark touches then pull out the tape and measure the distance from start to finish and divide by three. It got my speedo dead on and the published tire specs weren't the same.

Do not recalibrate any other way except the instructed way that the engineers have made to do it CORRECTLY.
