02 escalade/avalanche Brake Valve moduale, Are they defective from fac

So I bought a used 02 a year ago. Had it inspected at the dealership, Stability Control Light on.( recently changed to 'stability control disabled') No codes. They said it was the compressor to one of the shocks(blown bladder). They were wrong!!

Over the last year it drove and braked fine. But since it snowed, the stability control doesn't work. Well I looked into it again, turns out the valve below the truck has a hole or something, in one of the machined holes that aren't being used or connected to anything. But!! It only spitts out brake fluid when it is above the min level in the resovoir. After that it stops!?!? It must be on the stability control side on it too, because the ABS still functions properly. And moduale is smart enough to shut down the stability control part so it doesn't lose any more fluid.

Well, I checked into availability on a new part....at least 8 week back order!!

Then a mechanic friend looked into it. Apperantly GM has asked for the dealers to send them back?!?

Do any of u guys in the industry have the scoop on them?

Are they going to be recalled?
