07 issues

okay, my 07 Z71 with the 6.0L, 350 miles, had an oil leak as soon as I drove it home. That turned out to be a burr on an oil line and it was fixed. Now, every time I turn I hear several popping noices in the supension. It is not the clunk noise chevys are famous for and I will be headed back to the dealer. I can even weave the wheel side to side and hear it. You would think this truck is 5 years old already!. Maybe something needs greased or whatever. I love the truck but I did not expect to know the service department so soon! Any ideas out there?

I've already had:

 

My passenger side door handle fall off in my hands

 

The drivers side trim bit by the door handel fall off into the cup holder and crack in two

 

The drivers side front air dam start to fall off

 

all in 500 miles!

This might appear to be heartless but, JEEZ GUYS just go get it fixed!!! Some times things happen, just bring it in and get it fixed. That's what the warranty is for. I'm sorry ya'll are having these inconveniences but, come on!

for what you pay for these vehicles, they should at least have some build quality in it. And no, some things should not happen, that what quality control is for.

Yea, well nothings 100%. There is huge build quality in these trucks yea somethings should not happen but they do. I don't care who is building it!

For some reason you always hear about things like this when a company launches a new line. I suppose some things just need to work themselves out once the vehicle is released.

Norseman, I am just looking to possibly narrow the problem down to give the mechanic an idea what the problem is in the suspension. I am not loosing sleep over it. Geeze

Have the dealar check the front coil springs. Mine were creaking around that mileage. Simple fix if it's that.

 

I doesn't matter what make, how expensive it is, or if it's foreign or domestic. Always expect some problems when you buy a first year vehicle.
