CLTX11 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I was having problems with the truck. Computer couldnt pin point anything out so I just had them clean the throttle body. I then took it (98 Z71, 126,000 miles) to get the pan dropped and new filter. Well that solved the issue I was having but now it seems to shift a little hard.
silveradoHO Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 It would help if you stated the original issue that made you take the truck in for service in the first place.
CLTX11 Posted March 7, 2007 Author Posted March 7, 2007 Problems I had with the truck can be found here: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?...hl=transmission I was wondering about how long the transmission is going to last. It only seems to be shifting a little rough in 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear.
Nice rig Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Could be 500 or 150,000 miles...who knows. Drive it till it drops, a little hard shift isn't anything to worry about...start worrying when it doesn't shift.
CLTX11 Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 Ha, I like that...That is what I plan on doing. Hopefully it will be after June, I will have it paid off.
rjirvine Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Next time you make a post, why don't you add a little more detail in the description (there are 2 lines for it) instead of some kind of BS nightly news teaser...you'll get a lot more respect around here...and if you reference an original post, why not add an update to that instead of a new post?

Wingnut Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 How about we not make a big deal out of it. Good idea.
