I Want Your Opinion On Tire Size

alright heres the deal.

I have 16x10 DC-1 for rims that i run in the summer. I had BF rugged trails on them last year 265.75.16 it was a pain to get them on but once on they round out and it looks good only it rubs on my splash guard a little. no problem im gonna trim it and crank up my torsion bars a little anyway. but im puttin new tires on this year and was thinking about going 285 70 16 and need your opinion or if anyone has any info on this size under one of these trucks 2000 1500 sierra. or any recomendations on size or and suggestions on what kind of tires

I'm assuming you are running stock height? Not sure they will fit, had to lift for my 315's
