Dynatech's On = Setvice Engine Soon

Finished the install of the Dynatech Supermaxx LT's - With Cats etc. - Drove it for a day and now the service engine soon lite is on (Not Flashing) Any ideas ?? 2001 5.3L Silv. 2600 original miles (Garage Queen)

You may need a different set of O2 sensors. I have heard because of the different exhaust temps (or something) the stock sensors won't act right. Scan it for codes.

How does it sound with cats/mufflers ect?

you might have to get simulators. I had this problem, but i decided to just turn my rear 02's off. Simulators will just fake the PCM into thinking that they are working. It won't hurt anything, you just want the check engine light to stop coming on.

Heres a video of mine... Gibson Headers, DynaTech Cats, ture dual straight out... no mufflers... sounds nasty at high rpms.

Hi, you have to remove the EGR valve and unscrew the brass plug in thet connection from the header to the EGR valve. It took me a week to figure this out, good luck!
