2005 Sierra Sterring Wheel Controls Quit Working

Can any of you guys give me some advise? For about 2 months now the Steering wheel radio controls on my truck have been messing up. The buttons on the bottom (trip, fuel, I, and enter) work fine, but not the top ones. Up until this weekend the would randomly work, other times if you hit volume up or source up, it turned the volume all the way down. Now they do not work at all.

 

I am not sure what is more frustrating, the controls not working, or the wife reminding me about 13 times per day that they do not work. Has anyone had this same thing happen to them? What gets me is the randomness they would have....now nothing!

I have the same problem. My DIC buttons would intermittently quit. This usually happened when the headlights came on. I could dim the dash lights all the way down, then use the DIC buttons, and they would work, but only when the dash lights were completely turned down. They did that for a few months and have now quit. Now my radio controls have completely quit as well. Please help.

Im having the same DIC issues. I cant even turn off the CHANGE OIL reminder.
