Pics of my new CB Radio

Hey Everyone,

Well i finally installed my CB radio and all it ended up costing me was the 29.99 magnetic antenna and some time. The radio was given to me so i installed it today..

Actually i found a really easy way to do it for all the non electrical experts..(not trying to take credit for anyone elses install if they did it this way) I went to the local hardware store and bought a 5.99 DC adaptor that fits into my accessory plug. The radio already had a built in fuse in the wire so all i did was attached the DC end and plugged it in and it works great!

Although its not the nicest looking of installs but it will do for now i guess...

I know that black is tough to keep clean, but when they are, like in that first pic, sm:cool:kin'!!

Thanks for the compliments

I gave it a quick wash and dry to make it look decent and pumped on the tire cleaner I didnt have time to polish it up..

Actually from that far away you cant see any of the body marks.. I ve got about 3 good ones on the left side of the box from work and guys leaning against my truck..

One other thing you shouldnt do is let a forklift driver go near your truck *espeically when it doesnt have any brakes *I didnt know until he drove into my tailgate* He was loading a 200LB Crane in the back of my truck.. Its got a 10F arm and as he was putting it on my truck he used my tailgate to stop :(and then setting it down scraped my roof a good half foot.. Big dent and scraped it down to the bare metal..

No point in making him pay him for a new paintjob he's bankrupt!! We were picking up a ? dollar crane for ? bucks :)So i called him a F'Kin MORON for doing it..

Hey,

The weather is GREAT here!!!! Only downfall is little less gas MPG because i have the A/C cranked!!

I wouldnt have minded a lot if he was very sorry about it but the guy acted like a prick about it. Acting like "OH DID I DO THAT??" or ARE YOU SURE THAT WASNT THERE BEFORE??? As soon as i made a big deal about it he tried to look busy.. Not bad though my buddy and me talked him out of ? bucks worth of motors, cranes, and other equip for ? bucks. He had to sell everything private because the banks were after him.

Now that its happened i really dont care that much because espeically when i use a truck for work it will get marks on it.. No matter what you do you will get them just as they werent on purpose..
