Tranny Noise

I was driving my truck this morning and noticed that if I gun it from dead slow or stopped at about 4000 rpm theres this kind of a clinking clunking popping noise. I took it to my guys and they took it for a test drive and heard it but didnt know what it was, just by ear. I have to do a press confrence in an hour and needed to haul gear, so I couldnt leave it with them but figured I'd check around here. It's high Kilometers, 284000 I think, and the fluid was flushed not too long ago, still red and smells normal.

I had a Camaro once that did that exact thing. It ended up being a broken tranny mount.

Thanks I'll have them check it out, I got a free Lubrico Gold Warranty or something with the truck, so anything powertrain should be covered.

For future reference it was a misfire under top load (being first to second at high RPM) and it turns out that I had 280000km on my stock wires...
