I think that phone conversation should tell you right of the bat, if you want a extended warranty the only good one is a certified gmpp warranty!

that sales guy was full of it. he tried to put you in a high pressure situation and panic you into getting one. If you really want to be a jark about it - see if you can find the busisness info for them and then give a complaint to the BBB and call the company back and chew out the guy's boss for him being such a douche on the phone.

otherwise you can jsut ignore it and go on with life happily.

however, if you really want an extended warranty - get one of the ones your local dealer offers. that way - no questions asked if or when you have do have trouble.

Well if that aftermarket claims they sell extended warranties they are full of BS they sell service contracts.

If they were really selling extended warranties they would not be asking you to choose a deductable you want $0, $50, $100, $200 etc. I know my warranty from the factory was $0 GM does not even sell extended warranties. They sell service contracts. The only way GM extends warranties if they certified them, and even then you don't pay for it seperatly it's included in the sale price on the window sticker.

I would not deal with a company that can't even use the correct terminology to sell their product.

just my 2 cents
