When I get back, I will post the video and dyno sheets for those of you interested!

Did you spend $13,000 just on the engine or on the whole truck? $13,000 in engine work should have got you way more than 300hp 380ftlb/trq. Something just doesnt seem right there.

Are you running the stock tranny with that setup? What about the rear end? Did you go with a crate motor? 383s are great motors, strong on torque. I want one in my '87 V20!

Have fun!

13k includes the dual fans, new radaitor, dyno tune, complete new exhaust, new ceremic headers, as well as other odds and ends. the truck has the stock tranny (slightly built), 3.73 stock rear and keep in mind it is a Factory Vortec Intake manifold. These numbers out of that manifold without supercharging are rare. I did not go witht he crate unit, too many variables there. Mine was built by a Nascar engine builder. He is one of the best in the business. The motor itself was about 8k, but it was a ground up build. I did not have a block for him to start out with.

The rear wheel numbers are 300/380. There is an estimated 25-30% loss in the drivetrain. This truck will smoke the tires without thinking about it.
