Antenna Mast And Coax Replacement

I've searched the archives and still can't find the answer I'm looking for. My antenna broke off at the base of the mast, so the entire cable needs to be replaced. I found the part from a GM dealer, and am now faced with the task of replacing it.

 

After looking at a diagram and looking at it firsthand, the cable appears to go down from the antenna base, through the metal frame, and into the cab underneath the dashboard. It appears that the dash will need to be taken off to locate the cable end to replace.

 

Does anyone know how to take off the dash without breaking it?? I can get the passenger side panel off, but that's about it.
