2007 Nbs Husky Mud Flaps

I was wondering if anyone has installed a set of Husky mud flaps on their NBS? If so, what's your opinion? How do they look, and any pictures would be helpfull.

They are nice. Do they give you enough clearance to clear curbs when backing into a parking space? Were they easy to install; any modifications?

You should check with your GM dealer. I got the GM molded style guards that fit perfectly to the contours of the body. The mounting holes are already in place so literally installed in minutes. Make sure they know it's for a NBS, not the same design/shape as the classic body.

I have the GMC molded splash guards, and not all the holes required to mount them were in the sheet metal. In fact, I think they had to drill all the holes to mount them.

The front ones use existing holes and the rear ones install with no-drill clamps (there are no pre-drilled holes in rear wheel well flanges). They are custom fit to the truck as well. They have several sizes, I chose the 12" x 20" for the front and the 12" x 23" for the rear. The rears hang low and may catch on taller curbs but I have not had mine hit yet. I wanted the longer ones for the rear to protect my boat. If they only need to protect the truck, the 12" x 20"s will work for front and rear. I thought the rears needed drilling when I ordered them so I had them installed, after seeing how they mounted I would have done it myself had I known. I paid about $125 for all four and $60 for install. I highly recommend them, they are much higher quality than the molded plastic POS.

Folks with the GM molded splash guards, do you notice the rear ones angle in some such that the logo isn't level with ground? Mine do this, and there's also a mounting tab on the underside that doesn't have anywhere to go (front one bolted in to body). I'm thinking these may have been the wrong ones, but unfortunately I can't find the invoice to see what part number they are.
