That's not true. Not all gasoline sold is E10, and if it is E10, it has to be labeled as such.

Yes, you can run E10. According to your Model year, you should be able to run E85. Many, but not all 2002 5.3 engines were E85 capable. And yes it must be labeled as "Ethanol 10%", which is usually right next to the pump handle.
