:: V8/v4 Question ::

I've read through my new 2007 Silverado's manual and I can't find any way to turn off the active fuel management V8/V4 mode and switch it to a constant V8 mode. I do a lot of city driving and don't really need the V4 mode to save gas and I've added a flowmaster 40 series muffler and it makes a weird toned noise whenever the truck switches into V4 mode. So I guess my question is...Is there anyway to turn off the active fuel management on the NBS Silverado's?

Thanks for the help!

You know, I'd think there would be a plug somewhere that could be unplugged. Or even a fuse pulled. Maybe a GM tech would know how to do this.

Ok, before I buy, can you turn off the ding ding on the door with key in ignition,

How about seat belt ding dinging. Can you modify all this!

no just engine and transmission parameters
