Wheels

I'm looking to buy a set a wheels that will fit my 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew cab. I'm open to anything 18" to 20" I do not want the "low rider" look as I do a lot of hunting/fishing in remote areas as well as construction. I'd prefer a "beefy look" If any one is selling wheels that would fit or have any suggestions please let me know. Pics would also be appreciated. Send me a message and I'll get you my contact info....Also, I'm located in the Pittsburgh area. Thanks!

I know you said 18-20" is what you're looking for. I've got the oem Z71 style 17" cast aluminum wheels and GOODYEAR AT/S 265-70X17" tires that came off my '07 Silverado crew cab for sale in the classifieds. I don't think you can beat the price. Shipping is flat rate UPS or FEDEX.

(Maybe this is what came on your truck oem as well?)

I found a set of new vehicle take off 20" LTZ cast aluminum wheels and GOODYEAR LS2 tires. My truck is 2wd so I'm not into off road use.

I will note that the lower profile 20" tires on my truck produce a much less cushy ride than the oem 17" tires.

In my case, my new truck isn't actually a Z71. I bought a 2wd truck with the Z85 suspension. GM seems to use the same generic style cast aluminum wheels on most of the new body style truck models, I've seen locally. That's one of the reasons I wanted to change the wheels out so I could pick my truck out in the parking lot. :happysad:

Curious.....why do people buy Z71s and put street 20s on them?

1st-obviously it looks cool, 2nd-most dont off road, 3rd-they make off road tires for 20"

Have you tried price checking with your local Discount Tire or Tire Kingdom, etc? I got my 16x8 American Racing Bajas for about 660 total.

And if you have to get tires at the same time, most places will offer a kind of package deal for you.
