Magnaflow Muffler In Place Of Stock?

Recommended Posts

Someone told me that all they did was change the factory muffler and swapped in a magnaflow and left everything else stock. Would this sound as good as if you bought a whole cat back system???????

oh yeah also I saw on ebay that some shop is "custom bending" cat back exhausts for the NBS trucks. You can pick from flowmaster or magnaflow and is very resonable in price, anyone ever try these people???? I want an exhaust but dont want to lose my spare. thanks

I was gonna have a Magnaflow muffler put in place of the stock muffler but I got a new Magnaflow catback for $400 shipped. Since going to the 3 inch I have notcied I've lost a little bit of my low end torque though.

I just did the muffler only. as far as I am concerned when you look at there system and then look at what is on truck ya are being raped for 2 pipes.

On my truck I have a single inlet dual out muffler and a tail pipe with 2 inlets 2.75" that combine into a single 3" outlet..

Picture is OF outlet !

Magna Flow 12590 Muffler did the trick, shipped to door 92.00 and 52.00 to have it installed at Cole muffler.
